Matthew Morris
I’m an economist and governance adviser.
For nearly thirty years, I’ve worked on economic reform, public policy and institutional governance across Australia, Papua New Guinea, India, Nigeria, Kiribati and the wider Pacific — with governments, development agencies, multilateral organisations and boards.
Most recently, I’ve advised the leadership of the Global Fund on governance, strategy and board effectiveness.
Virtual Economics brings that experience together with AI around one question I keep returning to:
As information becomes cheaper and more abundant, how do institutions exercise better judgement and make better decisions?
